FAQ
Not sure if lleveza is for you? Let us help.
How is lleveza different from traditional implant dentures?
Most full-arch implant teeth are made of acrylic or zirconia ceramic. lleveza is made from a high-performance medical polymer, shaped by computer to your treatment plan and finished by hand. The result is a full arch that weighs over 70% less than a comparable zirconia restoration, with the same fixed, non-removable fit. Weight varies with design and materials.
Can I get lleveza if I already have implant dentures?
Often, yes. Many lleveza patients come in with conventional implant dentures they’ve worn for years. If your current teeth feel heavy, cause soreness, or no longer feel secure, a full-arch evaluation will show whether your existing implants can support a lleveza restoration. In many cases they can, which means a lighter arch without starting over.
How many appointments will I need for my procedure?
Most patients finish in a handful of visits. The first is a consultation with 3D imaging, where we confirm you’re a candidate and plan the treatment. Your restoration is then designed and built to that plan. Placement and fitting come next, followed by one visit to fine-tune comfort and bite. The exact count depends on whether you already have implants and whether any extractions or healing time are needed. Your treatment plan will spell it out.
How much does lleveza cost?
Cost depends on your case. Whether you already have implants, how many you need, and whether any other procedures are required all shape the total. You’ll get a written, itemized estimate after your consultation and imaging, with no obligation to proceed. Financing is available at all four locations.
What is lleveza made of?
The framework is made from polyetheretherketone (PEEK), a medical polymer used in orthopedic and spinal implants for more than two decades. The visible tooth surfaces are individually veneered and shaded to match your face and your preferences. The combination gives you a tooth-colored, lightweight arch that doesn’t rely on dense ceramic for its structure.
Is lleveza as strong as zirconia?
Zirconia is a very hard, very stiff ceramic, and lleveza doesn’t try to match it on hardness. It’s built to a different standard. The lleveza framework is made from a reinforced polymer whose stiffness is closer to natural tooth structure than ceramic’s. It absorbs some of the force of a hard bite instead of passing it straight to the implants. Zirconia resists wear. lleveza is made to feel natural and stay light.
What does lleveza’s warranty cover?
The warranty covers the structure of your restoration for as long as you own it. If the framework cracks, breaks, or fails under normal use, we repair or replace it at no charge. It also covers fit adjustments as your mouth changes over time.
What isn’t covered in lleveza’s warranty?
The warranty covers the framework, not the tooth surfaces. Chips, wear, or staining on the individual veneers are not covered, though they can be repaired or replaced for a fee. Damage from accidents, from use that isn’t normal chewing, or from work done by a provider outside the lleveza network is also excluded. The implants themselves and the surrounding gum and bone are covered under your treating dentist’s own policies, not the lleveza warranty.
What could void my warranty?
Three things. Skipping your scheduled maintenance visits. Having your lleveza adjusted or repaired by someone outside the lleveza network. Not wearing a night guard if your dentist prescribed one for grinding or clenching. Each of these affects how the restoration ages, so each is a condition of coverage.
Are there fees associated with the warranty?
The warranty itself is included with your treatment. Covered repairs and replacements of the framework are free. Work outside the warranty, such as veneer repairs or replacements caused by accidents, is quoted at the time. Routine maintenance visits are billed as normal dental visits.
How long does the warranty last?
For as long as you own your lleveza restoration, provided you keep up with maintenance visits. It’s not limited to a set number of years.
